Have you ever notice that most worship and praise songs are filled with JOY! But unless you’re at a black church there is no joy. All ages for our churches have lost joy! We are all just going though the motions. If you truly think about this, it should sadden you. When we get to heaven are we going to just stand with our hands at our sides singing to God? Or will we be on our knees sing, or jumping with joy as we sing. Why do we act like at a church we can’t dance to the music that gives our JOY in our hearts and lives. I don’t understand this.
Many of our songs state that we “life our hands and sing” but we don’t. We stand there like robots, but I bet robots move better then we do.
My youth group plays awesome music and music we can clap to! And jump around to but no us TEENAGERS just stand there showing NO joy of any kind to our praises we are sing to our savior. And what really makes me sad, is when church is out, and everyone is showing joy(well more like just happiness) about the last movie they saw, or this(non-Christian) concert they went to.
